This map was randomly at the Wyoming State Penitentiary (Steve likes to stop at “historic sights”….all historic sights). Visitors are given pins to mark where they have come from. Last year I gave Steve a world map for our anniversary where we plot the adventures of Steve & Christine. I hope when we are old and grey and wrinkly our map will look as filled as this….marking our many travels.

Swetsville Zoo.

Fort Collins, Colorado

This quite possibly could have been my favorite stop on our trip. Everything was so quirky and had the cutest details. If you ever find yourself on Interstate 25 its worth a stop!

Most who know me know that I love researching restaurants. Steve likes to walk around town and pop in a place that “looks” good. I don’t really work that way…I mean what if it only a so so mediocre breakfast and we are only eating one breakfast in Denver? We won’t get a re-do! Snooze lived up to its reviews. If you are ever in the Denver area I would definatly reccomend to stop by!

Caprese Benny Thick heirloom tomato slices topped with fresh mozzarella, poached eggs, and topped with cream cheese hollandaise, basil pesto and a light balsamic drizzle. Buon appetito!

So Yummy!

We visited this city for less then 24 hours but we made the most of our time. We took a stroll around town, did a little shopping,  and went to a rockies game.

A little shopping stop. They invented the snap button here!

Rockies game….we sat one row above the mile high marker.  To the left was the mountain and to the right the city sky line.  Not too shabby for a sunset.

Images from our not so recent trip to California. These pictures along with other travel pics should be added to the website soon….

New job + less hours + less stress + a fall art class + a new computer = a happy more artistic minded Christine.

Change is good!

Our first camping trip together was a success! We biked 14 miles around piseco lake, hiked panther mountain, and took a canoe ride up fall stream. Most of the days we just relaxed by the lake & stayed in the water to keep cool in the 95+ heat.  We treated ourselves one night to a fancy dinner at the Melody Lodge and it was amazing! If you are ever in the area (probably not) be sure to stop by. I could have stayed up in the adirondacks for at least a few more weeks….what is better then relaxing time with friends and family?
